He runs fast in this age. Besides, he also takes some other types of exercise. For his special diets and regular exercise, he is still fit today. He can use the staircase without any trouble. Moreover, he is also good at sports. His wife is not as much strong as he. She is a bit weak in her 50s and loves to stay at home. Mr. Strauss also loves to take part in adventurous activities. Often he moves for hiking and other outdoor activities with me and some other people of our locality. The spirit he owns is incredible. At present, he is bearing his expenses from his business. He owns a small gift shop in line with a restaurant in the city and makes a smart profit to meet the needs for him and his wife. Both the businesses are located in the same place. He is the father of four daughters and sons. And all of them are grown up and have their own family. They live in the other parts of the city. They come to meet the parents in different occasions. It becomes really a happy event for them. Mr. Strauss moves for his shop in the afternoon and takes care for everything till the dusk. He then returns home. The staffs in his shop are trustworthy and they take care for the business in the remaining hours. So, he does not need to worry about the businesses at all. You should say: What it is? Where it is grown? If it is common in your country? Explain why it is your favourite flower? Example Answer It is hard to find a man who does not love flowers. Everyone loves it for different reasons. I also love flowers and prefer sunflower most than the other flowers for some specific grounds. This is the flower that is highly beneficial for the humans and sunflower is my favourite flower. Flowers have a special attraction to the humans. They are used to serve several other purposes as well. It is a kind of symbol of love, peace and happiness. So, people are attracted to flowers. They love to have flowers on different occasions. I am not an exception in this case but my preference is a bit dissimilar from many others, even my family members. Most of the people are fond of rose which is considered as the queen of flowers. But I like sunflower the most. This is a special flower for me and casts a different charm to the people. This is a photogenic flower and looks beautiful when blooms. The flowers are of different size and shapes and the naming as ?Sunflower? might have been done so as they face to the sun when bloomed. The flower is grown around the world but France produces a large part of the global share. The flower was brought into the country and in the European continent by the Spaniards during the 16th century. They used sunflower oil for cooking. Initially, the flowers were found in wild state and after a few centuries, the importance of the flower appeared. Then commercial production for the flower began in France. Now sunflower is one of the most important agricultural crops of France. The sunflower seeds are used for a wide number of purposes. Usually, the sunflowers grow over 10 feet in height and summer is the best time for the bloom. So, when the flower is grown commercially, the growers harvest the flowers by July each year. The vast fields look gorgeous with the bloomed sunflowers but the scene lasts for a short time. Such scenarios are now places in view cards. Mostly the village areas are used for massive sunflower production in France. Sunflower is one of the major products of France and mostly the seeds are used to manufacture cooking oils. The sunflower oils are healthy and free of the other toxic issues that may cause physical disorder after consumption. Moreover, the seeds are also used for beauty products and cosmetic. The flower sticks look stunning when they are installed in or out of any house. Thereby, some people grow sunflower plants on their lawn or small garden beside or before the house. Sunflower oil is widely used here for its easy digestion feature and other health benefits like improving the brain, removing physical disability or preventing cardiovascular diseases. Besides, the sunflower seeds are enriched with vitamin E which is essential for our daily needs. The use has become too common in France that the sunflower and its products are found almost everywhere across the country. I firmly believe that I am a bit different from the ordinary people and my choices are not similar to the choice of others. Most of the people like to prefer some regular flowers but in this case, my choice is completely different. I love sunflower while many of the people will consider the flower as a commercial product for its random commercial use. The fully grown flowers face to the sun and swings in the air and this is adorable to look at. I also like the flower for its numerous benefits. Most of the other flowers do not have any usefulness except being used for decorations but sunflower is opposite to them. I like to think practically and do all the things which are beneficial for me. So, in preferring my favourite flower, I will pick the one which will be advantageous for me. Sunflower owns all the features I admire and find useful. Describe a rainy day you can remember. You should say: When it was? What you did on that day? How long it rained? Explain how you felt about the day being rainy? Example Answer In the mid of November last, I experienced a rainy day throughout the day. I cannot exactly remember the day but it began with dark clouds in the sky. It rained all the day long. In fact, it was an interesting day. Thank you for asking the question. I am glad to have a chance of describing the day here.? Usually, it does not rain here in Mozambique. And this was unusual. But it rained. It rained cats and dogs. In November, we feel chill here and sometimes the cold is acute. So, nobody expects a rain at this time as it will boost the coldness of the season. Further, when it rains, the locality I live in becomes muddy. So, this is a bit difficult for the locals to move in places they need to go. The average climatic condition of Mozambique is moderate. But there has been an unexpected change in the climate in the last couple of decades. And this is the result of the change.??? I am a university student. I am completing my undergraduate in Social Science. Hence, I need to remain busy with my academic events. In fact, I had to attend an important class on that day when it rained. I was unable to get out of my home. So, I missed the class. There was nothing much to do for me. Suddenly I remembered that I needed to complete an assignment for the next project of mine which was supposed to be closed by December. Accordingly, I started?working on the project. After a thorough research on the internet, I gathered necessary resources and made a project plan. It took around half of the day to complete the task. Then I planned to watch a movie. In fact, I was bored with the research. I had to browse a large number of websites, read their contents and gather the necessary resources. In the later part of the day, I enjoyed a drama movie. It was excellent.? It rained round the day. The rainfall began from the last part of the night. It was drizzling at first and then it started severely from the early hours of the day. It was an exceptional day for us. Later, I came to know that many of the people could not go to their workplaces and almost half of the institutions remained closed for the day. It was an excessive rain and unusual as well. I thought that I might go out in the evening to meet some of my friends but the rain did not stop. The weather reports said that the rain lasted for over 14 hours. It began in the early morning and stopped around 8.00 pm. So, it was too late for me to go out and meet with friends. Besides, the other members of my family were at home on that day for the excessive rain.? The feelings were food in some sense. But I had a regret the I missed my class. In fact, it was one of the most important classes of the semester and the teacher was supposed to provide some suggestions for the upcoming exams. But later, I came to know that the class did not take place at the scheduled time as none of the students was able to attend due to the rain. Hence, I felt a sense of relief. Further, it was a family gathering for my family. All the members are to remain busy round the week and cannot meet together. Due to the rain, we all were at home and particularly enjoyed the meals. The last part of the day was great for me. Describe a time when you got into trouble. You should say: What type of trouble it was? How you got into it? How you handled it? Explain how you felt about it?h. Example Answer Life is difficult and often people are to experience some sort of troubles. I also had to face trouble when I was unable to remember the lines I read on books against a particular question. At the beginning of the post-graduation, I took history as one of the mandatory in last December, I had to appear in the year final exam of my college first year and it was difficult for me to cross the barriers as the questions were too hard to answer. The exam was about literature and I had to answer some critical questions about the history of English literature. The questions were about the writing style, plots, relation with the past history of the modern days and more other issues. The problem was that the question-maker might have forgotten about the syllabus that was prescribed to us by the college authority to be followed for the year final exam. Surprisingly, almost all the questions were beyond the prescribed course outline and it caused great trouble to all of us; especially I was one of the worst sufferers. Unfortunately, I did not get the prescribed course outline as I was sick heavily. Thereby, I could not attend the final classes before the examination where the suggestions were delivered. Moreover, I failed to communicate with other mates and friends of mine. As a result, I was completely unaware of the texts and suggestions for the exam. The course was titled - English Literature contemporary and old texts. The course materials were available to me but I had no idea about what to study. So, it was difficult for me to decide what to do and how to do, and I was greatly troubled in the exam hall. With a high fever, I went to appear on the exam. Before getting to the college, everything was uncertain to me that if I would be able to appear on the exam or not. However, with the great inspiration from my parents, I started appearing on the exam. I reached college in time and took my seat. I felt that everything was spinning and it happened for my physical weakness. After a few moments, I felt better. But I was shocked at the questions paper and gazed at that for about five minutes, silently. Then I started writing the answers. I felt the trouble when I started to relate the events of the literary pieces of the past and present time. I was unable to read the current literary pieces as I was sick for several days before the examination. When I tried to relate the events, it was a bit difficult for me. There were texts about the literary pieces in middle age while we also had to read the literary pieces of the modern age. Certainly, there are some changes in the writings and the themes were not the same. But when it was asked to analyse about two different pieces together, it caused the trouble. When I was unable to answer the questions, I sought help from the invigilators. Fortunately one of the invigilators was the lecturer of the course and he was kind enough to provide me with some hints about the relations (as he knew about my sickness). The feelings about the exam are the worst. I had no preparations at all. I thought that I might not pass the exam and even if I do, my score will be lower than others. But in reality, the scenario was different. I passed the course with a reasonable score and it appeared unbelievable to me. But the feelings that I underwent at the exam hall were disastrous. The exam held for three hours and it appeared to me that its three decades. I frequently watched my wristwatch if the time has passed or not but the theory of relativity started working on me. Time was not passing and each of the seconds appeared like an age. My college does not allow submitting the answer scripts before the exam hour ends and thus I had to wait longer to submit my copy. Finally, the exam was over and I submitted the copy. I was unable to answer all the questions; especially I left two short questions unanswered for my ignorance over the texts.
