Topic: THE MEIJI RENOVATION Reading > Academic > P8 > THE MEIJI RENOVATION The Pie chart below gives the percentage about the satisfactory of current IT support service and the opening hours of library in the campus. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. Example Answer The given charts show changes in support for different political parties over a period of 13 months, before and after elections. The government was formed by an alliance of conservatives and liberal democrats after elections. The charts indicate at a fluctuating trend in support for all parties in the 13 months. The dramatic changes were noticed in case of conservatives, that emerged as a single largest party, with a mandate of 41%. The support for surged to 45% in the next six months, but later declined to 35%. Similarly, the green party also witnessed a loss of support to half, from 10% to 5%; though it was able to hold its support base for the first six months. The fortunes of coalition partners, the liberal democrats dwindled over the corresponding period dipping to less than 50%, from 19% to 8%. However, the support for labour party swelled in this period rising from 26% to 32%. The number of people not supporting any party, also rose five folds from 4% to 20%. The graph above shows the stock price of four technology companies between 2011 and 2016. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Example Answer According to the given illustration, the stock values of four different techno corporations were displayed from 2011 to 2016 in a bar graph. Overall, the bar graph depicted that the position of Google was stable and unchanged, but the position of Facebook was consistently gaining grounds from 2011 to 2016. There was no decline for this techno corporation. Facebook started with the market value of 7000 merely in 2011 and consistently earned profits up to 20,000 till 2016. The position of Apple stock values was fluctuating like below 5000 in 2011 and suddenly earned remarkable profits in the year 2012 i.e. more than 30,000 then again fell to 7000 in 2013 and in this way keep fluctuated in 2014 with steadily increment of 13,000 but again fell in 2015 and 2016. As compared to other, Yahoo started with high market values i.e., 7500 in 2011 but its stock devalued every year as compared to other techno corporations, and finally ended at less than 2500 in 2016. The graph shows average annual expenditures on cell phone and residential phone services between 2001 and 2010. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Example Answer The above line graph illustration depicts the average annual expenditure on cell phones and residential phone services in the period of 10 years i.e. from 2001 to 2016. If we compare the expenditure incurred on both the services, we analyse mobile phones were gaining their grounds substantially throughout the decade. On the other side, the popularity of residential or landline phones was continued to fall. Undoubtedly, landline services expenses started with an enormous amount of $690 in 2001 as compared to mobile services which started merely at $200. Also, after following first five years, there was an intersection point between residential and cell phone expenditure services met at the same record in 2006 i.e. $550. But soon cell phone toppled and overcome the popularity of Landline. Then cell phones expenses substantially rose up to $700 in 2009 and much higher $750 in 2010. In comparison, landline expenses continuously showed a downward trend and experienced $400, a steep fall in 2010. The Charts below show changes in proportion of the energy produced form different resources in country in 1985 and 2003. Example Answer The given two pie charts presented the proportion of energy produced from the different resources in a country in 1985 and 2003. The result had drawn after analyzing the five renewable resources i.e. Oil, Natural gas, Coal, nuclear and Hydro in percentages. Overall, Oil had gained the most prominent and dominant position in generating and producing energy in this country in the period of 13 years. Natural gas substantially increases from 13% to 23 % in 2003. The amount of energy produced from coal was almost negligible to 8% in 1985, and then experienced a nearly threefold rise to 22%, due to this coal had gained the position as the third-largest resource in 2003. In 1985, Nuclear contributed a lot in producing energy i.e 22% compared to other resources which showed a three-fold fall in 2003. This country also depends upon other resources but they did not show any significant contribution like hydro and other renewable resources. In-depth Questions Interviewers ask in-depth questions to get detailed information about your behaviour or abilities. These questions usually relate directly to the role and give the interviewer an idea of how well you'd perform. Examples of in-depth questions include: Can you give an example of a time you applied your leadership skills at work? How do you work under pressure? How do you handle stress? Do you prefer working alone or with a team? Why? Tell us about a time you exceeded your expectations. Have you ever missed a deadline? Why and what was the result?
